What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel and why is it important for every online marketer create one?

It is a method of marketing used to get prospective customers to buy items from your site. It's a selling process where visitors come to your blog to seek information that could solve the issue. With certain tools, you can learn how to build a relationship and build trust with each visitor.

This will allow you to better be aware of the needs of each user. This will enable you to provide the most relevant information possible for all visitors. Visitors will feel more confident purchasing your products if you have gained their confidence. The visitor becomes a customer.

In time the majority of customers become very loyal clients who are willing to buy any item that you promote on your site. A marketing funnel describes the steps required to convert a person who comes to your site into a customer that will come back to you for all future purchases.

This is the ultimate goal for any internet marketer. This can be achieved easily by utilizing a funnel that is well-designed.

Your promotional materials are drawing attention of people and leading them to your funnel. They enter the funnel when they fill in the form on your PERSONAL lead capture page. Because they are not going to opt into your lead capture page for business I'm using the term "personal". They would like to be a leader, not a business.

The lead capture page is where they enter the funnel. If they click on the "Sign up now" or the "Enter here" buttons, they are able to access a whole different universe of marketing through networks.

It is their decision. It's their choice. They don't need to pay you as a leader or mentor. You can also show them ways to get more leads and money into their business.

This is how an advertising funnel works.

At the "front-end" you can offer an offer that is free to draw and qualify people who may have an interest to purchase your products later on in the sales funnel. Sign-up is required to receive the free product.

Now, you have these contacts on your email and you can offer them similar offers that might interest them.

They will be taken to a page that offers an offer for a lower price or trip wire deals right after they sign to receive the offer for free. This is when they'll be taken to the "back-end" of your funnel.

If they buy the low-priced offer, they'll be added to another related offer at an even higher price (normally known as an "upsell"). Anyone who purchases the lower priced offer will be directed to the next comparable product at an even more expensive price. This process can be repeated for a number of years.
